
Outpatient Intensive and Non-Intensive Treatment
Outpatient treatment is provided in individual and group sessions. Urinalysis is available as required for each client.
Atlantic Health Services utilizes the Essential Elements (e2) curriculum, a series written by AHS and designed around the following key components:

Transitional Housing for Adults
Atlantic Health Services provides housing and sober living environments to men and women who are referred by mental health agencies, criminal justice programs, substance abuse residential treatment programs and self-referrals. These facilities are licensed for residential alcohol and other drug services, recovery or treatment planning, educational sessions, individual sessions and group sessions. In addition, transportation, 12-step meetings and referrals to outside services are available if needed. These facilities are all located in the City of Long Beach and provide chemically-free living.
SASCA Program
Through a contract with Walden House Substance Abuse Services Coordinating Agency (SASCA), Atlantic Health Services provides traditional housing for adults with intensive outpatient treatment and comprehensive case management services. This component consists of a 3 phase transitional re-entry program. Group sessions cover topics such as relapse prevention, life skills, anger management and processes.
Substance Abuse Offender Treatment Program (OTP)-PC1210 (formerly Proposition 36)
This is a court referral program for outpatient non-violent offenders.
