About Us

Atlantic Health Services (AHS) is a comprehensive substance use disorder and mental health agency providing services throughout Los Angeles County. We are a nonprofit 501(c)3 that was founded in 1996 by President & CEO, Richard M. Ciampa. AHS is a client-centered agency dedicated to helping adolescents, adults and their families. This would not be possible without the full support of our highly qualified and professional staff. The organization currently operates 53 treatment facilities located conveniently throughout Los Angeles County. All facilities are fully licensed and certified by the State of California and the County of Los Angeles Public Health Substance Abuse Prevention and Control (SAPC).

The mission of Atlantic Health Services is to offer a continuum of care to individuals seeking recovery from the effects of alcohol, substance abuse and mental health issues.
